AWS AuroraDB for Ontologies

AWS AuroraDB for Ontologies

Available from release 2.3.0-immortal

Amazon is a world leader in cloud services, so many customers are integrated with their services. One of the many services offered by AWS is AuroraDB.

What is AuroraDB?

Amazon Aurora is a relational database compatible with MySQL and PostgreSQL, and built for the cloud.

  • Amazon Aurora is up to five times faster than standard MySQL databases, and three times faster than standard PostgreSQL databases.

  • It offers the security, availability and reliability of commercial-grade databases at one-tenth of the cost.

  • Amazon Aurora is fully managed by Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), which automates demanding administrative tasks such as hardware provisioning, database configuration, patching, and backups.

Integration

The integration with AuroraDB allows you to use it as a ConfigDB for platform deployments, but also as a relational database on top of which you can handle platform concepts.
