What is CKAN?
CKAN is the base technology on which the Open Data Portal Platform Module is built.
CKAN is an Open Data Portal, or in other words, it is a platform for managing and publishing data, offering capabilities for publishing, sharing, searching and visualizing data. CKAN is the most widely used software to create an Open Data Portal, and you can see it in most Open Data Portals, both Spanish and worldwide:
