Starting in version 1.6 (Empire), the platform allows the use of this analytical gadget that uses datadiscovery operations and therefore works on the server for them.

It is a gadget that, given a datasource, allows you to make a data exploration on it in a table format, also allowing, or not, its edition in viewing mode.

This gadget works with ideally ungrouped datasources, so the best use case is a simple query about an ontology prepared for this use. Its use is not allowed on grouped datasources.

To create it, just choose it when creating a new gadget.

Once you click, you will see several options on it, and the editing form:

From that moment, you can start dragging attributes or metrics to the top container, and the data below in the table that appears will refresh.

On the right panel, you can remove the attributes and metrics from the edit panel, and you can also add new metrics that must meet the conditions of an SQL group operation.

In the upper panel, you can drag fields and configure them with the available buttons, for example conditional styles with the indicated form, and you can include css styles or functions on the obtained data (any js function with an input data is allowed).

In addition, you can sort the fields, calculate totals and subtotals (only first column in ascending order).

Lastly, once created, the gadget can be added to any dashboard as a new gadget, allowing even the reception of filters via datalink.

This video of the YouTube channel of the platform shows many of its possibilities:
