A look at FlowEngine

The platform integrates this component, which allows you to create process flows, while visually orchestrating both pre-created components and custom logic, in a simple way.

Its main features are:

  • Visual development from the Control Panel itself:

  • Extension based on Node:

  • It offers a huge number of connectors, ranging from protocols used at the enterprise level such as HTTP, Web Services, Kafka, etc., to protocols used in devices such as MODBUS, Profibus, etc., communication with social networks, etc., as well as components to integrate with platform capabilities.

  • The component is built on Node.RED, a technology that allows you to easily build process flows (For example, every Raspberry has it integrated). In the case of a platform, it is available in multitenant mode and with business capabilities. Node-red has a large community developing new components (https://flows.nodered.org)

  • This component is also integrated with the rest of the platform components, allowing, for example, planning the sending of emails, triggering a Flow upon arrival of an ontology, orchestrating dataflow pipelines, orchestrating notebooks, visually creating REST APIs, etc.
