Introduction

We have integrated xWiki as an optional module in Onesait Platform for those who need to include a wiki in their projects and products.

XWiki es una plataforma is an open source con licencia LGPC que permite crear y personalizar una wiki según se necesite. Utilizando datos estructurados y secuencias de comandos en diferentes lenguajes platform with LGPC license that allows you to create and customize a wiki as needed. Gestión de usuarios

Para la gestión de usuarios de la wiki, hacemos uso del módulo de Identity Manager de la Plataforma, por lo que la creación y mantenimiento de usuarios se hará desde la propia Plataforma mediante SSO.

Los usuarios se reparten en dos roles diferentes: genéricos y administradores. Cada rol cuenta con sus permisos correspondientes, pudiendo configurar quién crear artículos, qué artículos o componentes ve un grupo u otro, etc.

Aspecto de marca

xWiki permite crear sus propios temas visuales, lo que nos ha permitido crear uno genérico que sea continuista con el estilo de la Plataforma.

A partir de este tema visual, es posible generar plantillas (skins) de forma rápida y sencilla, que modifiquen el logotipo, colores de la wiki y lo sea que se necesite para permitir adaptar el aspecto a las necesidades del cliente.

Extensiones

Esta wiki también es altamente configurable y ampliable, gracias a la posibilidad de utilizar expansiones propios o de terceros. Existen más de 600 extensiones disponibles para instalar, según se necesite una u otra funcionalidad nueva,

A día de hoy, incorporamos por defecto las extensiones de foro y FAQ.

Foro

Hemos incorporado un sistema de foros en la wiki, que hace uso de los propios usuarios de la Plataforma y cuyos permisos se configuran en la propia wiki.

Se pueden crear tantos foros como sean necesarios, enlazándolos en las diferentes páginas para que los usuarios colaboren con la wiki.

El funcionamiento de este foro es similar a otros foros como phpBB, bbPress y similares.

El foro cuenta con un buscador tanto de contenidos como de fechas, por lo que permite buscar una entrada en concreto de manera sencillait allows you to create macros and applications to extend the capabilities of the wiki, adjusting to the needs of each moment.

User management

We have incorporated a forum system in the wiki, which makes use of the Platform's own users and whose permissions are configured in the wiki itself.

The operation of this forum is similar to other forums such as phpBB, bbPress and similar.

Otra extensión que nos parece muy interesante es la de preguntas frecuentes, en donde se puede definir una serie de contenidos explicativos para que los usuarios puedan acceder a dicha información rápidamente.
